development of XICT is equipped
with a quay length of 640 meters
,depth alongside of 13.3meters ,and
channel capacity of 100,000 tonnages,
and is the only deep-water berth
in Xiamen Port capable of accommodating
the sixth generation container vessel,
allocating state-of -the -art quay
cranes in the port.
The second phase development under
construction of XICT will be equipped
with aquay length of 448 meters
,depth alongside of 15.5meters ,and
channel depth of 14 meters, fepresenting
the future developing direction
of container terminals and leading
Xiamen Port to become a truly container
hub port and large-scale transshipment
port on china's southeastem coast. |
